Saturday 24 November 2018 Eastbourne Parkrun, meet 7.50am Freedom Leisure to sort out car share.
Sunday 25 November 2018 Crowborough 10k (Sussex Grand Prix Event). Hilly course 10.00am start. Online entry £12, entry on day £16.

Sunday 02 December 2018 Reindeer Run Buxted 10k or 5k and Junior 1k.
On 1st run for each of Monday ,Tuesday and Thursday please bring food for the food bank instead of the usual £1
Track training 2nd and 4th Weds at Eastbourne (with Heathfield) 7pm to 8pm £3. Track training at Crowborough in alternate weeks will resume in March 2019
There are a number of local Parkruns. Parkruns are every Saturday 9am they are free but if you have not already done so you need to register with Parkrun (free) and print off your bar code which you can then use at any Parkrun World wide. Most weeks we pick one Parkrun to focus on and meet at Freedom Leisure to sort out cars share usually 7.40 to 7.50am depending on how far we need to travel. Cafe afterwards is always an important part of the morning. Locally there are Parkruns at Eastbourne, Hastings Prom, Hove Prom, Preston Park Brighton, Hove Park, Bevendean Brighton, Peacehaven, Haywards Heath, East Grinstead, Bedgebury nr Wadhurst, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Tilgate Park Crawley. A parkrun may start in Buxted Park summer 2019.

The club Xmas party is on Saturday 8 December 2018 at Crockstead as in previous years
In most months 1 or 2 events are selected as particular events we seek to support: so hopefully we can achieve a strong turnout for each of these events: lets make a crowd. Mostly these will be 5 mile or 10k so anyone can do them. Please see combined events list for a fuller list of events we participate in (click on Events then button combined events list: including later Focus events which are shown in bold). Our next Focus event is Hove Prim 10k on Sunday 21 October 2018.
The 2018/19 season dates are on the Cross Country tab starting with Snape Wood on 14 October
Sussex Grand Prix events
A full list of 2018 races are shown on the Sussex Grand Prix Page within the Racing tab with links to entry. For a full score you need to complete 6 out of the 10 races (this is a changing from previous years, which was 8 out of 17 and you no longer need to complete races of 10 miles or more).
Main Group: Tuesday Training
Tuesday training is a mix of steady runs and more 'technical' sessions such as hills or repetitions. During the spring/Summer we mainly train off road in the winter the runs are in Uckfield.
Monday and Thursday Beginners/Joggers Groups
There are beginners/joggers groups on Monday 9.30am (term time only) and Thursday 7.30pm. These are relaxed social groups which cater for absolute beginners, joggers and runners looking for a more relaxed run. See the beginners tab for further details
Track training is at Crowborourgh 1st and 3rd Wednesday (£1) Uckfield Runners session and at Eastbourne (Cross Levels Way, Eastbourne BN21 2UF) on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month from 7pm (£3) joint session with Heathfield Road Runners. Both sessions are for 1 hour and there is a charge of £3. Both are suitable for all abilities.
